If you like lighthouses the this ones for you. You will see loads of them.

The Start:

The race start is from the Squadron Line off Cowes on the Isle of Wight.

Crews are required to be at the yacht no later than 4 hours before the start.

You are welcome to arrive the night before at no additional cost. Accommodation onboard.

Full details of times & joining instructions will be forwarded to you on completion of

your booking or you can sneak a peak on the www.RORC.org website.

RORC can on rare occasions make amendments and we would spend our days changing the website. Rather be sailing.

Finish:

The Race heads west out into the English Channel toward Wolf Rock off the Cornish coast. Then its across the Channel to Lille De Ouessant (Ushant) which we leave toper. Back around the Brest peninsular arriving at the finish in St Malo. We will spend a day ashore before blasting back through the Channel Islands to Cowes.

Glad you asked.

Well we can't go with a full 10 crew cos of Covid bloody 19.

Plus! As no one has been on the water we have added two training days to get us all back up to speed

RACE PACKAGE DETAILS

Included within your booking are the following:

Race Skipper & Mate (mate if required).

NOTE

THIS RACE CAN ALSO COUNT FOR YOUR QUALIFYING MILES SHOULD YOU WANT TO DO THE FASTNET IN 2021.

MORE INFOMATION

As we are all a bit rusty we have added in two training days. The whole event is therefore 7 days starting Thursday 14th August.

The price won't change but if you can only make 1 training day that's ok.

We will also only sail with a maximum of 8. RORC have advised 6 but they think 8 will be fine any August. Even if all restrictions are lifted we feel it would be good sense, not to go with 10.

If anyone takes ill before the event or is forced back into lockdown due to track n trace you will get a full refund. Show us a bit of proof. No! Coughing down the phone does not count. Never mind ill just take it on good faith.

No experience is required other than some offshore sailing. We will keep things simple with mainly Expedition food for main meals with some fresh stuff for breakfast. Stay safe....Go Sailing.

By the nature of our business we are often on the water and don't man a full time office. Once about 5-10 miles offshore telephone signal is at best poor.
