If the blue skies, the warm crystal clear waters of the Caribbean

together with the Tradewinds off the Atlantic are not enough to tempt

you then how about Whales off Barbuda, Dolphins, Turtles everywhere, swim

with them in English Harbour. Must not forget the Rum... lots of it out here.

But don't be fooled the C600 is tougher than it looks. Just warmer.

We base ourselves in English harbour, we love Nelsons Dockyard, Falmouth Harbour is just a short walk away, access to a stunning beach,

more bars than you can imagine and of course the Yacht Club where the race committee set up camp and the official parties take place.

Rock up about 4 days before the race, limited accommodation is onboard although most prefer to find a bit of luxury ashore.

We will have two days training on the water. Some cracking nights out including the official C600 welcome party.

The race starts on Monday and the excitement and anticipation is infectious as crews tease and challenge each other about who is going to beat who.

The race takes you around a number of islands in a looping double..ish figure of 8.

Antigua, Barbuda, Nevis & St Kitts, Saba, St Barth, St Maarten, Anquilla, Montserrat, Guadeloupe back to Antigua and Barbuda off toRedonda and back to Antigua for the Finish. Thats a lot of Caribbean for your effort.

Of all the races this one requires less of you regarding qualifications and pre race experience although we do recommend you take a RYA/ISAF sea survival course.

We will provide you with one of our famous Team Shirts although we are talking to Sail Racing regarding their amazing jackets.

Not cheap but if we can get enough discount we will offer those at an additional cost.

Having worn one across the Biscay I was seriously impressed. You will want one.

EXPERIANCE REQUIRED

Absolutely none.

We are a TEAM so we guide and help each other through each race. Some of the crew will be more capable and experienced than others. You learn as you go. We will include two training weekends. Once we all get use to each other, our strengths and weaknesses, how we respond to fatigue and sleep deprivation, how many sugars you take in your tea.

All the little things that are 'as important' as your skill development. We will learn to communicate, work together, look out for each other, laugh together, get cold and wet together, soak up the sunshine together.

We have had absolute novices who have shinned. Experienced guys who have started out left wanting. By being a TEAM we can be amazing and on the 2019 Fastnet we were exactly that. Never been as proud of a crew as that lot. They set the bar.

We challenge you to better them.
